Delivery Information


At Fireplace World we offer a fast and reliable delivery service to all mainland UK addresses and our delivery services fall into two categories: 1-man Two Working Day Delivery and 2-man Home Delivery. These two categories are determined by the size and weight of the products. To know which service your product will be delivered via simply look on the right hand side of the product page above the Add to Basket button.

Please note: If you place an order for a product that contains an item manufactured by: Dimplex, Flavel, Valor, Crystal Fires, Carron, Robinson Willey and Burley. Your order may be delivered by two different drivers but the delivery will take place on the same day and full tracking information will be provided.

Delivery Fees: There is a delivery fee for all orders delivered to the Republic of Ireland. For two working day deliveries the deliver fee will be €9.95. For our home deliveries the delivery fee will be €49.95. You will be shown the full delivery cost to your area for the product(s) at the basket stage.


Contact Free Delivery: Following the recent outbreak of Covid-19 in Ireland our carriers are now conducting contact free deliveries on all orders. There is currently no impact on our delivery timeframes but you will see some differences in how the carrier will go about delivering your order. One of the main differences is that the carriers will only be delivering to the door as they reduce physical contact. If you cannot accept a contact free delivery please do contact us.

Two Working Day Delivery


How it works:

Available on all of our smaller to medium sized items such as our accessories, inset fires and stoves as well as a limited range of part assembled wooden surrounds and suites. Our two working day delivery is conducted by a 1-man delivery team and is a fast and convenient service. To receive your order within two working days, simply place your order for any applicable product before 11am.

Cut off point, weekends and UK bank holidays:
To ensure that you receive your order with two working days you must complete and pay for your order by no later than 11am. If your order is placed after this time then your order will be processed and dispatched the next working day - there is no exception to this cut-off point. If your order is placed after 11am on a Friday or at any point during the weekend your order will be processed and dispatched on the Monday. If your order is placed during a UK bank holiday your order will be processed and dispatched on the following working day.

Please note: If the product ordered is out of stock at the time of purchase, your order will be dispatched once stock becomes available the following working day. You will be notified of the restock date in your email confirmation and you will be kept informed of the status of your order via regular email updates.

Couriers we use:


  • FedEx:
  • Responsible for carrying our small to medium items, FedEx deliver between the hours of 7am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. Once your order has been dispatched you will be notified via email or text of your tracking details and then on the morning of your delivery you will be notified when your order is out for delivery. Please note that FedEx only offer an all-day delivery service, however you can follow your delivery via the link provided by FedEx on the morning of delivery.

Home Delivery


How it works:

Available on our larger and heavier items such as fully assembled wooden surrounds and suites, cast iron inserts, solid wood mantelpieces. Our Home Delivery service is both convenient and professional. Delivered within 21 working days, your order will be delivered by our expert couriers who will contact you directly via email or text to schedule a suitable delivery date in advance.

To ensure that your order is processed quickly and efficiently you must complete and pay for your order by no later than 11am. If your order is placed after this time then your order will be processed the next working day - there is no exception to this cut-off point. If your order is placed after 11am on a Friday or at any point during the weekend your order will be processed on the Monday. If your order is placed during a UK bank holiday your order will be processed on the following working day.

Please note: If the product ordered is out of stock at the time of purchase, your order will be processed once stock becomes available the following working day.   • Montgomery’s Transport:
  • Carrying all of our fully assembled surrounds, suites and cast iron products, Montgomery’s Transport deliver between the hours of 7am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. Once your order has been dispatched you will be notified via email or text of your tracking details and Montgomery’s Transport will contact you with a delivery date. On the evening before your scheduled delivery date you will be notified of your 4hr delivery timeslot. Please be aware that this is only a kerbside, pallet service.
 
  • Delivery Exceptions:
Due to the size and weight of our larger products our Home Delivery teams are unable to deliver to addresses which are not situated on the ground floor such as flats.
